Web Developer
General Summary:
Working in our San Diego office, this role will build web sites, micro-sites, landing pages, e-mails, and other HTML-based documents and forms in support of company business and customers. The Web Developer will work with internal and external clients to implement web sites and web functionality using Company’s eMarketing platform.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Four years or more experience implementing interactive web sites and be able to clearly communicate and discuss concepts/ideas both internally and with LF customers.
- Strong working knowledge of client-side JavaScript and ability to create original modular JavaScript code.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Prototype, script.aculo.us, jQuery, or Dojo.
- Ability to use multimedia editors for manipulation and preparation of digital content for web delivery, these shall include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or other similar applications.
- Experience with Ajax or Adobe Spry framework is essential, with knowledge of Java and XSL as plus.
- Awareness of design issues as they impact the UI experience, application functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
